Course context for academic year 2022-23
En la asignatura de Derecho Mercantil I se aborda la Introducción al estudio del Derecho mercantil, que comprende la parte general del Derecho Mercantil, incluyendo el Derecho de la Competencia y el Derecho de la propiedad industrial e intelectual, y la Introducción al Derecho de Sociedades.
La importancia de esta materia radica en la necesidad que tienen los futuros graduados en Derecho de conocer los principios básicos que inspiran el conjunto de normas jurídico privadas que, dentro del marco de nuestra constitución económica, se ocupan de regular la actividad económica que los empresarios y otros operadores económicos desarrollan en el mercado.
En cuanto al sentido y ubicación en el plan de estudios, la asignatura se ubica en el segundo curso, con el fin de dotar de una base jurídica respecto de las estructuras económicas y empresariales que los estudiantes irán adquiriendo conformen avancen en los estudios del Grado en Derecho, teniendo en consideración que podrán completar el contenido de esta asignatura con el contenido de la asignatura de itinerario: Derecho de sociedades.
