Specific Competences (CE)
- CE32 : Knowing the current objectives of fishing and acquiring an ethical commitment to the sustainability of resources and fishing communities, promoting the sustainable development of fishing activity and the application of the precautionary principle for the conservation of aquatic resources and the minimisation of the impact on marine ecosystems.
- CE33 : Analysing conservation measures, especially the protection of areas for the recovery of threatened stocks, economic and structural measures and market regulations that guarantee the sustainability of fishing activity, efficiency and competitiveness of fleets, modernisation of the sector, support to workers and satisfaction of consumers' interests.
- CE34 : Analysing, by means of case studies, national fisheries management systems in the Mediterranean, as well as the objectives, policies and instruments applied, focusing on the historical and developmental peculiarities that have led to their evolution and their current structure.
