El contenido de esta asignatura trata de desarrollar las competencias relacionadas con la dirección y organización de proyectos. Se estudia la organización, metodología y gestión del proyecto contemplándose sus distintos apartados y estrategias. Además, se incluyen nociones sobre la presentación de las memorias y su defensa.
Estos conceptos serán ilustrados con estudios de casos prácticos y temas de actualidad. Estos conocimientos suponen la base de actuaciones profesionales, tales como la ordenación del territorio, restauración de ecosistemas, gestión de espacios naturales, evaluación de impacto ambiental, temas bioclínicos, obtención de productos biotecnológicos, control de calidad en la industria alimentaria, biorremediación, gestión de proyectos de investigación, desarrollo de memorias para el estudio de patentabilidad, etc.

Los contenidos teórico-prácticos de esta asignatura tienen como objetivo dar las nociones básicas para realizar un Proyecto o un Estudio de temas propios de las Especialidades y que tienen, por tanto, un carácter eminentemente aplicado.
Dotar al alumno de las competencias relativas al contenido de la asignatura desde el punto de vista descrito en el contenido de la misma. En particular se desarrollan competencias técnicas, de comportamiento profesional y del contexto del proyecto.
