Course context for academic year 2020-21
Esta asignatura se enmarca en el itinerario de Matemáticas Aplicadas a las Ciencias Sociales. Íntimamente relacionada con otras asignaturas del mismo itinerario como Teoría de Juegos o Economía de la Información y la Incertidumbre, se sirve de instrumentos previamente estudiados en el marco de la Teoría de la Medida, Optimización, o relacionados con la Investigación Operativa, para modelar ciertos problemas de decisión colectiva sobre los que, desde un enfoque de las Ciencias Sociales, se ha dirigido, en parte, el Análisis Económico moderno. En este sentido, una parte importante del contenido, se relacionará con el enfoque conocido como “diseño de mercados” (Market Design).

- CE5 : Propose, analyse, validate and interpret models of simple real-life situations, using the most appropriate mathematical tools for the purpose.
