Course context for academic year 2019-20

This subject is part of the Teaching Competence Certificate for Catalan, English, German and French, enabling students to get Catalan and Foreign languages Teaching Competence Certificate, which qualifies to provide teaching English and foreign languages in non-university educational levels.

This subject is taught in two languages (Catalan and English), in groups and with different teachers. This configuration groups involved slight variations in terms of organisation of content; that is why, students should consult the course description for each specific group:

  1. To have a thorough knowledge of the legal framework regarding plurilingualism in the Valencian Community
  2. To understand the implications of the current legal system in the Valencian Community.
  3. To know the implications of the European Framework for Plurilingualism.
  4. To understand the implications of integrating languages and content in the Valencian Educational system.
  5. To understand the implications of an intergrated curriculum.
