Course context for academic year 2019-20
La asignatura Astrofísica Fundamental en el grado de Física tiene por objeto que el alumno adquiera cierta base en los principios de la Astrofísica y a Cosmología. Se utilizarán principalmente conocimientos matemáticos y físicos que el alumno ha aprendido en los dos primeros años de la titulación. Para abordar ciertos temas, se introducirán algunos conceptos matemáticos nuevos, de una forma intuitiva.

Specific Competences (CE)
- CE01 : Understand and apply the fundamental concepts of physics.
- CE02 : Recognize and assess physical processes in everyday life.
- CE03 : Be able to estimate ranges of magnitude in order to interpret various phenomena. To carry out the approximations required in order to reduce problems to a manageable level. Develop intuition in Physics.
- CE04 : Relate Physics with other disciplines.
- CE05 : Ability to design experiments in the laboratory, to measure and analyze critically experimental results, to draw conclusions and to evaluate the level of uncertainty.
- CE09 : Being able to model complex phenomena translating physical problems into mathematical language.
- CE10 : Be able to use computing tools to model and solve physical problems.
- CE11 : Solve qualitative and quantitative problems using previously developed models.
- CE12 : Recognize and analyze new problems and devise strategies to address them.
