Course context for academic year 2012-13

 

La ciudad y el territorio no pueden ser en ningún caso entendidos solamente como el resultado de las decisiones de los propietarios del suelo y del ejercicio de la libertad de empresa, sino como el ámbito donde se desarrolla la vida de todos los ciudadanos. Ecosistema urbano (arquitectos3/2006)

 

 

 

El curso de urbanismo y Medio Ambiente 2012-2013 propone una reflexión crítica sobre la ciudad consolidada y sus infraestructuras básicas como escenario físico y mental de la vida urbana. El área de trabajo es la ciudad de Alicante, un ámbito extenso que presenta importantes áreas degradadas y obsoletas y diversos espacios de oportunidad que recuperar para los ciudadanos.

  • CET4 : Understand the influence of infrastructures on spatial planning and the development of urban public areas, such as water supply and distribution, sanitation and water treatment, waste management, transport system, traffic, lighting, energy and communications.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2012-13

 

Comprensión del crecimiento de la ciudad  y la dinámica los desarrollos urbanos contemporáneos, en especial las áreas urbanas consolidadas que necesiten una recuperación y adaptación a las cambiantes condiciones económicas, sociales y proyectuales.

 

Resolución de propuestas de ordenación que contengan las siguientes variables: la interrelación y conexión con el contexto territorial, la recuperación de espacios degradados y la asignación de nuevos usos del suelo, así como el diseño detallado del espacio público, las tipologías edificatorias propuestas y sus espacios libres asociados siguiendo modelos de desarrollo sostenible.

Introducción a la lectura de temática urbanística, proyectual y medioambiental.

Ejecución un ejercicio de intervención urbana que contenga las siguientes fases: análisis y diagnóstico de la problemática urbana, la localización de áreas de oportunidad donde desarrollar los conceptos de centro y nueva centralidad, movilidad y sostenibilidad, paisaje urbano y espacio público
