Course context for academic year 2011-12
El objetivo genérico de Fundamentos de la Comunicación I es el de orientar al estudiante y darle a conocer la esencia de los términos, relaciones, fenómenos, estructuras y enfoques esenciales en el campo de la comunicación masiva, y poner a su alcance instrumentos para que pueda ir ampliando a lo largo de los tres cursos restantes su formación. Nuestro fin es dar al discente la capacidad cognoscitiva e interpretativa sobre los elementos de la comunicación y su evolución, procesos y formas. En este contexto, la asignatura está estrechamente ligada con la asignatura homónima Fundamentos de la Comunicación II, con las otras asignaturas de la materia fundamental Comunicación, aasí como con Historia, Derecho, Economía, Psicología y Sociología.
