General Competences (CG)

  • CG2 : Acquire ICT skills (Information and Communication Technologies) applied to studying the biological diversity and biology of conservation, managing the information obtained correctly.
  • CG3 : Develop the capacity for analysis, synthesis and critical reasoning applied to experimental observations and data.
  • CG5 : Introduce conservation as an aim of research projects concerning biological diversity.
  • CG6 : Acquire a permanent concern for quality, the environment and the conservation of the environment.

 

Specific Competences:>>Theoretical

  • CEc3 : Understand and interpret the diversity of living beings in the environment, as well as their origin, evolution and behaviour.
  • CEc4 : Acquire and advanced understanding of the phylogenetic and biogeographical principles that govern the classification of living beings.
  • CEc6 : Understand the role played by interspecific relationships in the structuring of communities and the preservation of biodiversity.

 

Specific Competences:>>Ability

  • CEh1 : Apply concepts, principles and theories associated with the areas of conservation biology and studies of biological diversity.
  • CEh3 : Recognise and implement good scientific practices when handling and taking data from biological material.
  • CEh5 : Acquire the skills needed to prepare scientific texts on the basis of experimental and bibliographic data.
  • CEh6 : Know how to identify, analyse and catalogue biological diversity.
