UA Basic Transversal Competences

Specific Competences: >> Competences Common to the Telecommunications Branch
- C1 : Capacity for self-learning of new knowledge and techniques appropriate for the conception, development and exploitation of telecommunications systems and services.
- C2 : Capacity to use computer and information applications, office systems, databases, advanced calculation, project management, visualisation, etc.) to support the development and exploitation of telecommunications and electronics networks, services and applications.
- C3 : Capacity to use computer tools to find bibliographic resources and information related to telecommunications and electronics.
- C4 : Capacity to analyse and specify the fundamental parameters of communication systems.
- C5 : Capacity to assess the advantages and drawbacks of different technological alternatives for the deployment and implementation of communications systems, from the point of view of signal space, perturbations and noise and analogue and digital modulation systems.

- E1 : Capacity to construct, exploit and manage telecommunications services and applications, understanding these to be systems for the acquisition, analogue and digital treatment, coding, transport, representation, processing, storage, reproduction, management and presentation of audiovisual services and multimedia information.
- E2 : Capacity to analyse, specify, implement and maintain television, audio and video systems, equipment, amplifiers and installations, both fixed and mobile.
- E3 : Capacity to carry out projects for premises and facilities intended for producing and recording audio and video signals.
- E4 : Capacity to carry out acoustic engineering projects on: Insulation and acoustic preparation of premises, Public address installations, Specification, analysis and selection of electroacoustic transducers, Systems for the measurement, analysis and control of noise and vibration, Environmental acoustics, Underwater acoustic systems.
