Cryptography:Post-quantum cryptography, code-based cryptography, variants of the McEliece cryptosystem with convolutional codes and stream ciphers.
Code theory: study of network coding problems. In particular: subspace codes, including orbital codes; flag codes and convolutional codes.
Group theory: application of finite group theory to other related fields of research, such as the theory of automata and formal languages and the theory of codes.
Singularity theory: Study of topological and geometrical aspects of the singularities of real
