Amanda Roig-Marín is Senior Lecturer in History of English and Medieval Literature at the University of Alicante, Spain. She specialised in medieval English at the University of Cambridge, where she did an MPhil and a PhD. She is interested in how historical multilingualism manifests itself in both non-literary (administrative) and literary texts and in the study of the effects of language contact on vocabulary.
