Estudio de la comunicación humana y del uso del lenguaje desde un punto de vista pragmático, es decir, teniendo en cuenta el papel del contexto en la producción e interpretación del lenguaje, y con especial hincapié en la lengua inglesa, auqnue también se analizarán modalidades de comunicación visual y multimodal, sobre todo la comunicación por Internet (chats, Facebook, Twitter, páginas web, etc.).
