Course context for academic year 2015-16

 

La Pronunciación del Inglés es una asignatura que aborda el nivel fono-fonológico de la lengua inglesa, con especial referencia a la variante del inglés llamada Received Pronunciation (RP) o BBC English. Se examinan conceptos esenciales acerca de los fonemas segmentales y suprasegmentales del RP. Se introduce a los alumnos en la transcripción fonológica. Esta asignatura ofrece al alumnado una formación básica en lo referente a la enseñanza del inglés, y al estudio de los sonidos del inglés con otros fines, en especial clínicos y forenses.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Be able to master the English language in practice and in theory.
  • CE26 : Be able to relate the different aspects of Philology with each other and with other disciplines.
  • CE7 : Be able to understand the phonetic-phonological component of English and apply said knowledge.

  • UA2 : Be able to use basic ICT tools at user level.
