Course context for academic year 2015-16

Sampling and Data Analysis is the third course of the subject "Quantitative Methods: Statistics and Econometrics", within the "Degree in Business Administration and Managment" of the Universidad de Alicante. The objective of this course, which is taught in English, is to study the basics of the econometrics techniques, which allow analyzing the relation between economic variables. Sampling and Data Analysis combines the study of econometric theory with practice sessions in which students apply the techniques to real data by using econometric software and reading applied econometrics literature, with a focus on applications to topics of international trade and labor economics.
