Culmination of what has been learned in the two previous subjects of legal and administrative translation, combined with an adequate knowledge of the fundamental anisomorphisms between legal systems, allowing the production of meta texts which combine acceptability and rigour.

By the end of the course, students are expected to have amassed a sufficiently wide technical vocabulary and to have developed, through continual practice and constant exposure to the relevant type of texts and documents, a sufficient and mature awareness of legal principles and stylistic habits to enable them to translate swiftly and accurately representative passages drawn from the fields of law and administration.
