Competencies and objectives

 

Course context for academic year 2019-20

Se describen los componentes de cualquier naturaleza presentes en el agua. Se desarrollan los aspectos teóricos sobre equilibrios y los fenómenos que tienen lugar tanto de forma natural como inducida artificialmente o por la presencia de contaminantes. Se definen los parámetros de calidad que evalúan la contaminación, incluyendo los contaminantes prioritarios y emergentes. El alumno realiza prácticas de laboratorio para la determinación de algunos parámetros. Complementariamente el alumno conoce los sistemas de gestión de calidad y la implantación de un sistema integrado de gestión.

  • CE4 : Understand the composition and properties of waters and the chemical and physical phenomena that take place both naturally and in artificially induced fashion, or due to the presence of pollutants.
  • CE5 : Understand the biological components related to life in water and their relevance to water quality and its purification.
  • CE6 : Understand the parameters indicating the physical, chemical and biological pollution of water and the techniques used to determine them.
  • CE7 : Understand the quality management systems used in analytical laboratories. Capacity to optimise human and material resource management.
