Course context for academic year 2019-20

Este módulo consiste en la aplicación práctica de los conocimientos sobre edición digital adquiridos en la asignatura de Iniciación a la edición digital de textos. Para ello, los estudiantes realizarán prácticas sobre diversos aspectos del proceso de edición digital.

En estas prácticas se desarrolla el proceso de edición de textos, literarios y no literarios, mediante el uso de herramientas digitales.

General Competences (CG)

  • CG3 : Acquire specific knowledge of the subjects studied for its professional application in the field of teaching.
  • CG4 : Acquire techniques and tools for digital publishing.

 

Specific Competences:>>Conceptual knowledge / theoretical frameworks

  • CE8 : Acquire the basic tools needed to carry out digital publishing projects and the training needed to apply one's philological knowledge in the field of professional text publishing: master the main computer tools and programmes for digitalising text and images (use of hand and desktop scanners, parameters for digitalisation and iconography, principles of optical character recognition, image retouching, etc., using specific software. Master the main computer tools and programmes for processing, correcting and composing texts (automatic text correction elements, use of word processing programmes: Word). Master the main computer tools and programmes for hypertext publishing and the use of metadata.

 

Specific Competences:>>Procedural capabilities, skills and abilities

  • CE13 : Master the main computer tools and programmes, for the digitalisation, correction and layout of text and images.
