Course context for academic year 2018-19

 

Los objetivos que se pretenden alcanzar con los contenidos de la materia son la comprensión por parte del alumno de los aspectos metodológicos y teóricos de la economía de los recursos naturales, y el conocimiento de los instrumentos de política económica ambiental, especialmente del agua desde la perspectiva histórica, teórica y aplicada. Aunque no se trata de una asignatura habitual en los grados de Economía, se considera de especial interés por la importancia que han  adquirido en los últimos años la protección del medio ambiente y el desarrollo sostenible.

Con el estudio de esta asignatura, el alumno será capaz de desarrollar capacidades y habilidades para enfrentar la problemática relacionada con el medio ambiente y los recursos naturales desde un enfoque histórico, económico, social, ambiental y político. 

Los estudiantes adquirirán habilidades para manejar los instrumentos de valoración económica de los recursos naturales, así como en instrumentos disponibles para el análisis y solución de la problemática ambiental y de los recursos naturales, con énfasis en aspectos económicos para realizar una investigación de alto nivel.

  • CE1 : Capacity to find, revise, select and use academic bibliography and specialised databases dealing with a particular topic.
  • CE2 : Capacity to select, design and justify a research project and carry it out using the appropriate scientific methodology.
  • CE4 : Evaluate the consequences of different courses of action and select the best on the basis of the objectives.
  • CE6 : Issue specialised reports advising on specific economic situations (international, national or regional) or on sectors of the same.
  • CE7 : Identify sources of economic information that is difficult for less specialised researchers to understand and know how to analyse its content.
