Esta asignatura obligatoria forma parte del Módulo Fundamental, y se dirige a la adquisición de conocimientos básicos de carácter químico-físico sobre los sistemas interfaciales, incluyendo líquidos, sólidos, interfases electrificadas y distintos tipos de coloides.

- CG1 : Commitment to self-guided or autonomous learning to gain deeper knowledge of the subject.
- CG2 : Monitor and critically interpret the latest advances in the theory and practice of Materials Science.
