Course description
  AUTOMATED MANUFACTURE AND PRODUCTION SYSTEMS

Competencies and objectives

Course context for academic year 2018-19

The context of this course is based on the introduction of automatic manufacture, such as CNC machines, centers, flexible manufacturing and automated processes.

Current existing and particular for this type of automation technology is advanced in this sector, so most commonly used automatic machining systems, especially in the field of industry of our community will be studied.

In the course of manufacturing and automatic production systems, they are all these aspects in a comprehensive manner, in order to teach how to deal with the development of a project full of automated production system.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2018-19

This course describes the mechanical engineering systems and the skills she needed to know the procedures used in the metalworking industry. More specifically, this course is oriented to the automation of manufacturing systems, integrating numerically controlled machines, flexible manufacturing systems and CAD / CAM / CAE. These concepts are essential for certain prominent sectors of the Valencian Community, such as extraction and processing of natural stone, wood production systems and the toy industry.
