Course context for academic year 2012-13

La finalidad del grado es formar a sus estudiantes en los siguientes perfiles profesionales: docencia de la educación física, entrenamiento deportivo, actividad física y salud, gestión y recreación deportiva. Por ello, esta asignatura se vincula directamente con la adquisición de las competencias necesarias para conseguir una adecuada formación en cada uno de los perfiles profesionales.

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1.1 : Capacity to identify, list, analyse, synthesise and apply the conceptual content determined by the subjects studied for the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree.
  • CG1.2 : Capacity to manage information and knowledge in new and complex situations, solve problems and take decisions to develop instrumental content and procedures for the subjects in the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree course.
  • CG2.1 : Ability for oral and written communication when developing conceptual and procedural content, with special attention to mastering argument and critical reasoning in the subjects in the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree course.
  • CG2.2 : Use and integration of computing as applied to the subjects studied in the Sciences of Physical Activity and Sport degree course.
  • CG5.1 : Commitment to the values of equality with regard to questions of gender, diversity and democracy when practising physical activity and sport.
  • CG5.2 : Commitment to ethical values in sporting competition.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE13 : Capacity to design, apply and evaluate high-quality processes, programmes and projects in the field of promoting long-lasting and autonomous habits of practising physical activity and sport, paying special attention to diversity and multiculturalism.
  • CE7 : Capacity to manage and apply knowledge of the foundations of sport.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2012-13

1. Conocer y comprender la evolución histórica de la actividad física y el deporte

2. Analizar la variación de formas y funciones de la actividad física y el deportes en las diferentes culturas.

3. Desarrollar estrategias pedagógicas que favorezcan la integración y la interculturalidad a través de la actividad física y el deporte.

4. Diseñar y experimentar diferentes actividades físico - deportivas recreativas como estrategia de intervención en valores.

5. Dominar procesos de búsqueda bibliográfica general y específica, así como realizar análisis de documentos escritos y visuales relacionados con los contenidos de la asignatura.

6. Conocer y aplicar técnicas básicas de investigación en ciencias de la actividad física y el deporte.

7. Conocer las estrategias básicas para la adquisición de las competencias profesionales necesarias en el ámbito de la actividad física y el deporte.

8. Mostrar una participación activa durante el desarrollo de las clases.
