Course context for academic year 2020-21

La asignatura Biomecánica de la actividad física es una materia de formación básica y carácter obligatorio, que consta de 6 créditos ECTS distribuidos en un semestre. La Biomecánica de la actividad física y el deporte podría definirse como una rama interdisciplinar y eminentemente aplicada de la Biomecánica en la que confluyen disciplinas como la Física, la Anatomía y la Fisiología, entre otras. El estudio del movimiento es clave para poder llevar a cabo cualquier profesión relacionada con las Ciencias de la Actividad Física y el Deporte. La asignatura busca aportar al alumno las bases conceptuales y las habilidades para analizar el movimiento humano y de los implementos deportivos en diferentes contextos desde la perspectiva de la Mecánica. De este modo, la asignatura sienta las bases para diferentes aplicaciones profesionales: análisis de la eficacia de las técnicas y materiales deportivos; valoración de la seguridad de los ejercicios físicos; etc.

  • CG3.1 : Capacity to design, apply and evaluate high-quality processes, programs and projects in the fields of teaching, training and the promotion of health and recreational sport

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Capacity for managing and applying knowledge of the effects of practising physical exercise on the structure and function of the human body.
  • CE3 : Capacity for managing and applying knowledge of the physiological and biomechanical factors that condition the practice of Physical Activity and Sport.
