Course context for academic year 2017-18

La contribución de la asignatura al plan de formación del alumnado de educación primaria es la aportación de la formación básica respecto de la práctica educativa relativa a la educación musical ya que contempla objetivos formativos relacionados con la Expresión Musical.
En ella, se tratan las perspectivas y enfoques actuales de esta materia en busca de implementar diseños y desarrollos de programas de innovación con el consiguiente seguimiento y evaluación aplicados a la práctica docente, por lo que desarrolla de manera directa las competencias del título teniendo en cuenta que, al menos en teoría, los contenidos de la Educación Musical han de ser impartidos por maestros con especialización en esta disciplina.
La asignatura demanda una prioridad del enfoque profesional –procedimientos primero, fundamentación teórica necesaria después- sobre el enfoque académico de los contenidos, teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones expresadas en el punto anterior, ya que, para asumir de forma plena todo el bagaje musical se precisa una preparación amplia y fundamentada académicamente. Por todo ello la priorización del enfoque profesional dado a la materia está en relación directa a la selección de contenidos referidos a las competencias generales y específicas del maestro de educación primaria.
La materia, se encuentra ubicada en el módulo en el tercer-cuarto año, primer semestre del grado y tiene un carácter de formación básica y transversal con el resto de materias del grado, pues se incluyen contenidos fundamentales musicales abordados desde la perspectiva de complementar a otras asignaturas del grado –psicología, pedagogía, educación física, plástica y visual…-, ya sea dentro de la formación en el mismo Grado o en futuros estudios de posgrado.

General Competences (CG)

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE13 : Understand the importance of the role of the teacher so as to collaborate with and guide parents of children aged 0-6 years as regards family education, and master social skills for dealing with the families of each individual child and families as a whole.
  • CE4 : Foment coexistence both in and outside the Infant Education classroom and present the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
  • CE5 : Systematically observe learning and coexistence environments in Infant Education contexts, interpret educational practices according to the theoretical reference frameworks, reflect on them and act in consequence.
  • CE6 : Empower group reflection on the acceptance of standards and respect for others. Promote the autonomy and unique nature of all students as factors in educating emotions, feelings and values in early childhood.
  • CE7 : Promote the evolution of different pre-school education languages, identify possible dysfunctions and ensure their correct evolution. Favour the development of communication skills.

 

Competencias Módulo optatividad:>>Mención en Música

  • M-MU-01 : Introducir a los alumnos en el lenguaje musical comprensivo desarrollando de forma consciente, la capacidad rítmica, melódica, tímbrica y armónica.
  • M-MU-02 : Asimilar los conceptos de teoría de la música desde ámbito reflexivo y conocer y practicar los elementos fundamentales de música interiorizando todos sus elementos, potenciando la lectura, la memorización y la interpretación comprensiva.
  • M-MU-03 : Aproximar al alumno a los distintos enfoques metodológicos relacionados con el aprendizaje del lenguaje musical.
  • M-MU-04 : Desarrollar y evaluar los contenidos de educación musical del currículo mediante los recursos didácticos apropiados y promover las competencias correspondientes en el alumnado.
  • M-MU-05 : Desarrollar y estimular la capacidad auditiva, la capacidad creativa demostrando competencias para trabajar la creatividad y la improvisación musical.
  • M-MU-06 : Mostrar capacidad para interpretar con musicalidad las piezas musicales de distintos estilos y épocas.
  • M-MU-07 : Realizar programaciones y desarrollo de sus unidades didácticas teniendo en cuenta el lenguaje musical para la en los distintos niveles del currículo.

 

DEGREE IN PRIMARY SPECIALITY

 

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Identify information needs and then find, analyse, process, evaluate and communicate it effectively, critically and creatively.
  • CG2 : Plan, organise and manage processes, information, problem-solving and projects. Possess initiative, entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to generate new ideas and actions.
  • CG6 : Value diversity as a matter of fact and integrate it positively.
  • CG7 : Capacity for criticism and self-criticism, giving reasoned judgements and ethical, professional and personal commitment. Motivated to improve quality.
  • CG8 : Understand learning as a global, complex and transcendent fact, control one's own learning and mobilise all kinds of knowledge, adapting to new situations and connecting knowledge as a means of creating new knowledge.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE13 : Promote and head the development and implementation, in the school you belong to, of curriculum proposals in an area where are best qualified and take responsibility for promoting quality improvement processes in said area.
  • CE4 : Motivate and promote the progress of students in school in the framework of comprehensive education and promote their self-learning skills, starting with the targets and content of each educational level, with positive expectations of student progress. All of this while renouncing traditional stereotypes that are external to learning, and developing strategies to avoid discrimination and exclusion.
  • CE5 : Identify and support those students who do not achieve their learning potential or have behavioural, emotional or social problems. Also know how to request advice from different services and specialists to attend diverse special education needs.
  • CE6 : Encourage students to act as responsible and critical citizens to promote the shared construction of democratic standards of coexistence and work together to resolve problematic situations and conflicts. Be able to analyse social inequalities in the framework of the complex education-school relationship and the role of teachers in reproducing and/or transforming them.
  • CE7 : Design and develop educational projects, programming units, contexts, activities and materials, including digital material, to allow the curriculum to be adapted to the diverse nature of the students and promote the quality of the contexts in which the educational process takes place, thus guaranteeing their well-being.
