Course context for academic year 2022-23

This subject is scheduled in the 7th semester of the Degree of Civil Engineering, and it is optional out of the Hydrology study block. It aims that previously learned knowledge is applied by students, along with the presented concepts, in order to solve those geotechnique problems that are present in hydraulic works.

UA Basic Transversal Competences

  • CT-10 : Capacity to confront, plan and solve real problems demanded by society in the field of engineering.
  • CT-13 : Capacity to adopt the scientific method when planning and carrying out different academic and professional tasks.

 

Specific Competences (Specific Technology):>>Hydrology

  • CEH-1 : Knowledge and ability to plan and size hydraulic works and installations, for industrial water production, energy systems, hydroelectric plants and management of surface and underground water resources.

 

Basic Transversal Competences

  • CB-3 : Students should have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) to give opinions that include a reflection on important, social, scientific, ethical matters, etc.
