Course context for academic year 2019-20

  • La asignatura de Gestión y Explotación de Puertos se encuadra en el 2º semestre del cuarto curso del grado de Ingeniería Civil.
  • Tiene por finalidad habilitar y capacitar a los estudiantes en las técnicas de planificación, gestión y explotación de puertos.
  • El desarrollo de la asignatura se lleva a cabo mediante clases teóricas, prácticas de problemas y prácticas de campo, con visitas a distintas instalaciones portuarias.
  • Para el adecuado proceso de aprendizaje por parte del alumno son especialmente recomendables los conocimientos de Matemáticas, Economía e Inglés.

Specific Competences (Specific Technology):>>Transit and Urban Services

  • CET-4 : Understand the influence of infrastructures on spatial planning and the development of urban public areas, such as water supply and distribution, sanitation and water treatment, waste management, transport system, traffic, lighting, energy and communications.
  • CET-5 : Understand the design and working of modal interchange infrastructures, such as ports, airports, railway and bus stations and transport logistics centre. Knowledge of transport engineering, planning and management.

 

Basic Transversal Competences

  • CB-2 : Students should know how to apply their knowledge to their job or vocation in a professional manner and should have those skills that are usually reflected when preparing and defending arguments and solving problems in their field of study.
  • CB-3 : Students should have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) to give opinions that include a reflection on important, social, scientific, ethical matters, etc.
  • CB-4 : Students should be able to transmit information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
  • CB-5 : Students should have developed the necessary learning skills to undertake later studies with a high level of autonomy.

  • Compresión de la función y actividades portuarias, usuarios, organización y dirección.
  • Diferenciación de los distintos tipos de terminales: necesidades específicas de cada una.
  • Capacidad para analizar, planificar, dimensionar y explotar terminales portuarias.
