Course context for academic year 2019-20

Ante una creciente complejidad de los fenómenos urbanos y territoriales, se propone enriquecer la visión sobre la ciudad de los futuros ingenieros, proponiendo una mirada polivalente que supere la tradicional limitación sujeta a unos parámetros estrictamente infraestructurales, técnicos o funcionales, extendiendo la percepción y el análisis al resto de las áreas que intervienen en la planificación y diseño urbano.

UA Basic Transversal Competences

  • CT-11 : Capacity to learn and apply new concepts and methods in an autonomous and interdisciplinary fashion.
  • CT-7 : Capacity for oral and written exposition.
  • CT-8 : Capacity to plan tasks and commit oneself to satisfying goals and deadlines.
  • CT-9 : Capacity for group work.

 

Specific Competences (Specific Technology):>>Transit and Urban Services

  • CET-4 : Understand the influence of infrastructures on spatial planning and the development of urban public areas, such as water supply and distribution, sanitation and water treatment, waste management, transport system, traffic, lighting, energy and communications.

 

Basic Transversal Competences

  • CB-2 : Students should know how to apply their knowledge to their job or vocation in a professional manner and should have those skills that are usually reflected when preparing and defending arguments and solving problems in their field of study.
  • CB-3 : Students should have the ability to gather and interpret relevant data (normally within their field of study) to give opinions that include a reflection on important, social, scientific, ethical matters, etc.
  • CB-4 : Students should be able to transmit information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
