Course context for academic year 2012-13

El Ingeniero de Edificación debe conocer las instalciones que se incluyen en la edificación y que hacen que ésta cumpla con los requisitos que le demanda la sociedad de confort, habitabilidad, eficiencia, etc...

Sin las Instalaciones un edificio no sería habitable, es por tanto necesario que el alumno tenga tanto conocimientos teóricos como prácticos de las distintas instalaciones que posee un edificio y como interactúan éstas con el resto del mismo.

General Competences (CG)

  • G5 : Understand the theoretical foundations and basic principles of fluid mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, electromagnetism, calorimetry, hygrothermics and acoustics as applied to building.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • E12 : Understand the evaluation of the environmental impact of building and demolition processes, sustainability in building and the procedures and techniques used to evaluate the energy efficiency of buildings.
  • E13 : Capacity to apply technical regulations to the building process and generate technical specification documents for the construction procedures and methods of buildings.
  • E14 : Ability to apply the specific regulations concerning installations to the building process.
  • E16 : Capacity to develop the construction details of building installations, monitor and plan their execution and verify the service and reception tests, as well as their maintenance.
  • E30 : Capacity to analyse working projects and transfer them to the execution of work.

 

General Transversal Competences

  • G11 : Skills in a foreign language.
  • G12 : Computer and information skills.
  • G13 : Oral and written communication skills.

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2012-13

  • Conocer una instalación como un elemento compacto y no como una serie de elementos meramente conectados entre sí.
  • Conocer la función y el comportamiento de las diferentes instalaciones dentro del campo de la edificación, centrándose en las instalaciones eléctricas, de telecomunicación y térmicas, y conocer el acondicionamiento térmico de los edificios.
  • Saber conocer las necesidades que de ellas demanda un edificio y el dimensionado de las mismas.
  • Conocer el comportamiento, la misión y función de los diferentes materiales que las integran, los elementos y equipos más adecuados para cada aplicación determinada y puesta en obra, de forma que las hagan más efectivas y duraderas.
  • Conocer el mantenimiento y conservación necesarios para que las distintas instalaciones presentes en los edificios sigan supliendo, a lo largo de su vida útil, las exigencias que presentan éstos.
  • Conocer la normativa aplicable dentro de cada campo específico
