Course context for academic year 2010-11

 

La contribución de la asignatura al perfil profesional del título se basa en los siguientes aspectos:

- La asignatura de Matemáticas I forma parte del grupo de asignaturas básicas de primer curso, la cual tiene como objetivo principal desarrollar la capacidad de la resolución de problemas matemáticos sencillos que pueden plantearse en la ingeniería. Este caracter básico de la asignatura le confiere un papel clave en la formación de futuros ingenieros.

-Esta asignatura tiene relación directa con la gran mayoría de las asiganturas de la titulación.

UA Basic Transversal Competences

  • CT7 : Capacity for oral and written exposition.
  • CT8 : Capacity to plan tasks and commit oneself to satisfying goals and deadlines.
  • CT9 : Capacity for group work.

 

Specific Competences:>>Basic

  • B1 : Capacity to solve any mathematical problems that may arise in engineering. Ability to apply knowledge of: linear algebra, geometry, differential geometry, differential and integral calculus, differential equations and partial derivatives, numerical methods, numerical algorithms, statistics and optimisation.

 

Basic Transversal Competences

  • CT1 : Students should show they possess and understand knowledge in a field of study that continues from general secondary education and is usually found at a level which, although supported by advanced textbooks, also includes certain aspects that involve knowledge arising from the cutting edge of their field of study.

 

Specific Competences: >> Competences Common to the Telecommunications Branch

  • C3 : Capacity to use computer tools to find bibliographic resources and information related to telecommunications and electronics.

1) Conocimiento de materias básicas y tecnológicas que le capacite para el aprendizaje de nuevos métodos y tecnologías, así como que le dote de una gran versatilidad para adaptarse a nuevas situaciones.
2) Capacidad de resolver problemas con iniciativa, toma de decisiones, creatividad y de comunicar y transmitir conocimientos, habilidades y destrezas, comprendiendo la responsabilidad ética y profesional de la actividad del Ingeniero/a Técnico de Telecomunicación.
