Course context for academic year 2017-18

El perfil académico del graduado en Economía debe orientarse hacia la formación de profesionales capaces de desempeñar labores de gestión, asesoramiento y evaluación de los asuntos económicos en general. Esas labores se pueden desarrollar en el ámbito público, en las empresas o en cualquier institución de relevancia económica y social.

Por lo que se refiere a esta asignatura, con ella se inicia el estudio del proceso de la Dirección Estratégica de la Empresa. Se pretende ofrecer una visión general de la empresa desde la perspectiva de su alta dirección. La asignatura ‘Dirección Estratégica de la Empresa’ estudia los fundamentos de esta materia, centrándose en las etapas de este proceso. En concreto, se aborda el análisis estratégico así como la formulación de estrategias.

En cuanto a la coordinación de esta asignatura dentro de la estructura académica del grado, la asignatura de Dirección Estratégica de la Empresa profundiza en conceptos expuestos en las asignaturas de Fundamentos de Economía de la Empresa, impartida en el primer curso del grado en Economía.

  • CE4 : Evaluate the consequences of different options for action and select the best one according to the objectives set.
  • CE5 : Issue expert reports on specific economic situations (international, national or regional) or on sectors of the same.
  • CE7 : Become involved in business management.
