Course context for academic year 2017-18

Esta asignatura se plantea como complemento a la formación del alumno del Grado en Sociología en su aprendizaje de los aspectos sociales del Medio Ambiente. De forma específica, se espera que el alumno adquiera la capacidad de reflexionar sobre la naturaleza social de los problemas ambientales y desarrollar estrategias de resolución de dichos problemas a través de las diversas herramientas de que dispone el sociólogo en su práctica profesional e investigadora. En este sentido, los contenidos de la asignatura conectan directamente con los de otras asignaturas del Grado en Sociología, como Sociología del Medio Ambiente, Técnicas de Investigación Cuantitativas y Cualitativas o Sociología Urbana, entre otras.

  • CTUA3 : Oral and written communication skills.

 

Specific Disciplinary Training Competences (Theoretical)

  • CES2 : Analysis of the main features of the modern historical system (structure) and the transformations and evolution of contemporary societies.
  • CES3 : Understanding and mastery of social science methodology, its statistical tools, methods and basic and advanced social research techniques, both quantitative and qualitative.

 

Specific Disciplinary Training Competences (Practical)

  • CEH3 : Capacity to plan, design and execute social intervention projects and public policies designed to deal with social problems.

 

Transversal Competences

  • CT1 : Capacity for analysis and synthesis.
