Course context for academic year 2022-23

Responsabilidad jurídica del menor es una asignatura obligatoria que se sitúa en el primer semestre del cuarto curso del Grado en Criminología.

El objetivo de esta asignatura es, fundamentalmente, proporcionar al alumnado conocimiento de la responsabilidad tanto civil como penal en que puede incurrir el menor de edad. Su existencia en el Grado de Criminología se justifica por la necesidad de dar formación jurídica al alumnado en este ámbito concreto de la responsabilidad, toda vez que tiene determinadas características que le proporcionan un perfil particular. La responsabilidad jurídica del menor tiene, además, conexión directa con la materia civil y penal de otras asignaturas del Grado.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Be able to describe fundamental concepts in the fields of psychology, sociology, law and natural sciences that are needed to provide a global analysis of criminal phenomena and deviation.
  • CE7 : Be able to identify the principles and processes, including human rights and public freedoms, on which penal and juvenile justice systems are based, as well as the execution of sentences and measures for security and the alternative resolution of conflict.
