Course context for academic year 2019-20
"Derecho penal. Parte Especial" es una asignatura obligatoria que se imparte en el segundo cuatrimestre del tercer curso del Grado en Criminología y del Grado en Derecho y Criminología. Su objetivo fundamental es conocer los delitos previstos en el Código penal español. Para ello, son esenciales las herramientas metodológicas que han sido estudiadas en la asignatura "Fundamentos de Derecho penal", básicamente los principios fundamentadores del Derecho penal y la teoría jurídica del delito.
El programa presenta tres bloques temáticos. En el primero se abordan diversas consideraciones generales sobre la sistemática de la Parte especial del Derecho penal. En el segundo, se estudian las principales infracciones contra bienes jurídicos individuales. Finalmente, en el tercero, se estudian algunas infracciones contra bienes jurídicos colectivos.
La asignatura "Derecho penal. Parte Especial" es fundamental para la formación en Criminología, pues permite conocer las clases de infracciones así como los elementos de tipificación de los diferentes hechos delictivos, y, en consecuencia, el ámbito de lo penalmente prohibido, que es el campo de referencia para la investigación del crimen y del criminal.

- CE8 : Be able to argue and describe different points of view and debate them in a logical and coherent manner and present conclusions in an appropriate academic format when dealing with questions of criminal policy, victimisation, criminalisation and responses to crime and deviation as well as on the perception and interpretation of the same by the communications media, public opinion and official reports.
