Course context for academic year 2020-21

La Bioquímica que forma parte de la formación básica del grado de Óptica y Optometría. Su objetivo es proporcionar un conocimiento más detallado sobre la biomoléculas, su estructura, sus funciones biológicas, haciendo mención especial a las relacionadas con la visión.También se estudiará una serie de vias metabólicas y procedimientos mediante los cuales las células expresan su carga genética. Para terminar con un tema sobre la Bioquímica del ojo.
Son conocimientos esenciales, para la preparación de alumnos universitarios, que deben estar al dia, para poder aplicar sus conocimientos en su labor profesional, en un mundo con una información cada vez mayor.
Es muy importante también la relación con otras asignaturas del grado, que en muchas ocasiones han tenido históricamente, una fuerte conexión con la Bioquímica. Esto hace que tengamos una coordinación, que lleva una planificación adecuada, para beneficio del futuro graduado.
