Course context for academic year 2021-22

La Química Analítica constituye una de las principales áreas de conocimiento de la Química y tiene como objetivo el desarrollo, optimización y aplicación de procesos de medida (métodos analíticos) para la obtención de información cualitativa y cuantitativa de calidad.

La asignatura Quimiometría y Análisis Instrumental forma parte del bloque de asignaturas fundamentales a desarrollar en el cuarto semestre del Grado en Química.

  • CE1 : Acquire basic knowledge of chemistry, nomenclature, agreements and units.
  • CE11 : Understand the principles of electrochemistry and its applications.
  • CE12 : Relate the fundamentals of analytical techniques (electrochemical, optical etc.) and their applications.
  • CE14 : Acquire the knowledge to apply and evaluate the interaction radiation-material, the principles of spectroscopy and the main techniques of structural research.
  • CE16 : Apply the methodology to chemical processes, including quality management.
  • CE17 : Understand mathematical and statistical methods to validate models from experimental data and optimise chemical processes.
  • CE5 : Apply the principles and procedures used in chemical analysis to determine, identify and characterise chemical compounds.

  • CE28 : Recognise and implement good scientific measurement and experimentation practices.

  • CE30 : Handle chemical reagents, instruments and devices safely.
  • CE31 : Carry out standard laboratory procedures for analytical and synthetic tasks related to organic and inorganic systems.
  • CE32 : Use standard chemical instruments for identification, quantification, separation and structural determination.
  • CE33 : Monitor by observing and measuring chemical properties, events or changes, gathering the appropriate information.
  • CE35 : Interpret data obtained from laboratory observation and measurement.
  • CE36 : Prepare, present and defend scientific reports both in writing and orally in front of an audience.
  • CE37 : Evaluate the risks involved in using chemical substances and laboratory procedures, as well as managing any waste generated correctly.
  • CE38 : Use inductive and deductive methods correctly in the field of Chemistry.
  • CE39 : Recognise and evaluate chemical processes in daily life.
