Competencies and objectives

 

Course context for academic year 2019-20

La asignatura Química Inorgánica es la primera asignatura de la materia Química Inorgánica que cursa el alumno y su objetivo es establecer los fundamentos de la materia y, por ello, se aborda el estudio de la Química Inorgánica descriptiva, esto es, el estudio de los elementos químicos y sus compuestos. Para establecer los contenidos de la asignatura se ha considerado que el alumno, en el segundo semestre del primer curso, cursó la asignatura Química II en la que se contemplan los contenidos relacionados con la estructura atómica y configuraciones electrónicas, la Tabla Periódica y propiedades periódicas, el enlace (covalente, metálico, iónico y de coordinación), fuerzas intermoleculares y estados físicos de la materia, incluyendo también dos temas generales de reactividad de compuestos inorgánicos (reacciones ácido-base y de oxidación-reducción) y de compuestos orgánicos.

  • CE8 : Study chemical elements and their compounds, their distribution in nature, acquisition, structure, reactivity and applications.

  • CE24 : Show knowledge and understanding of the essential facts, concepts, principles and theories associated with the different areas of Chemistry
  • CE27 : Interpret, evaluate and synthesise Chemical data and information.
  • CE35 : Interpret data obtained from laboratory observation and measurement.
  • CE38 : Use inductive and deductive methods correctly in the field of Chemistry.
  • CE39 : Recognise and evaluate chemical processes in daily life.
  • CE40 : Relate Chemistry to other disciplines.
