Course context for academic year 2018-19

La asignatura OBL II se imparte en el segundo semestre de primer curso, en paralelo con la asignatura OBL I. Cuando el alumno comienza dichas asignaturas ha realizado 24 horas de prácticas de Química I en las que se hace hincapié en los temas relacionados con la seguridad en el laboratorio, el reconocimiento de material y la preparación de disoluciones.

Ambas asignaturas OBL I y OBL II están diseñadas para que el alumno adquiera habilidades en el laboratorio y además comience a trabajar competencias transversales que le serán de suma utilidad en el resto de cursos de la titulación. En concreto en la asignatura OBL II se trabajan competencias relacionadas con la búsqueda de información, el trabajo en equipo, inglés, manejo de herramientas informáticas, comunicación oral y comunicación escrita.

Por lo tanto, esta asignatura forma parte de una materia básica y transversal del título. Dentro de sus contenidos se tratan aspectos tan importantes en la formación de un Químico como son: la relación de la Química con la sociedad y con otras disciplinas, la importancia del punto de vista histórico de esta disciplina, así como los aspectos relacionados con la sostenibilidad.

  • CE35 : Interpret data obtained from laboratory observation and measurement.
  • CE36 : Prepare, present and defend scientific reports both in writing and orally in front of an audience.
  • CE37 : Evaluate the risks involved in using chemical substances and laboratory procedures, as well as managing any waste generated correctly.
  • CE39 : Recognise and evaluate chemical processes in daily life.
  • CE40 : Relate Chemistry to other disciplines.

 

Generic UA Competences

  • CGUA2 : Express oneself correctly, both orally and in writing, in either of the official languages of the Region of Valencia.
