Course context for academic year 2019-20

La presente asignatura, Ampliación de Hidrogeología, es una asignatura optativa del grado de Geología, pensada para aquellos alumnos que han cursado la asignatura de Fundamentos de Hidrogeología. Con ella se pretende introducir al alumno en aspectos más específicos de la Hidrogeología. Así, se profundiza en las características específicas de las distintas formaciones geológicas y se revisan tanto las técnicas de exploración como otros aspectos de diseño y ejecución de obras de captación de aguas subterráneas. Además, se indaga con mayor detalle en los aspectos más relacionados con el Medio Ambiente y se estudian las principales herramientas y actuaciones sobre el recurso hídrico conducentes a una adecuada gestión.

General Competences (CG)

  • CE1 : Acquire the fundamentals of geological terminology, nomenclature, agreements, scales and units.
  • CE17 : Know how to explore, evaluate, extract and manage terrestrial resources (industrial minerals and rocks, hydrocarbons, water) in a framework of sustainable development.
  • CE24 : Know how to apply the basic principles of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics to understanding the Earth and geological processes.
  • CE25 : Gather, represent and analyse data using appropriate, field, laboratory and office techniques.
  • CE26 : Integrate field and laboratory data with theory, following a sequence of observation, synthesis and modelling.
  • CE30 : Understand past, present and future interactions between the natural environment and human beings, as well as analysing and predicting their future.
  • CE33 : Study and plan the rational exploration of geological and energy resources.
  • CE36 : Prepare reports and studies dealing with the exploration, research, production, transformation and control of geological and hydrogeological resources.

 

Generic UA Competences

  • CGUA1 : Acquire the computer knowledge needed for storing, analysing, synthesising and modelling the data required for the degree course.
  • CGUA2 : Understand sources of information for Geology and know how to manage them.
