Course context for academic year 2021-22

La Hidrogeología es la parte de la Geología que se encarga de estudiar la circulación del agua en el subsuelo. La presente asignatura, Fundamentos de Hidrogeología, es una asignatura de Hidrogeología general para estudiantes que cursan el grado de Geología. Se encuentra incluida en dentro del módulo fundamental específico. Con ella el se pretende que el alumno adquiera una visión lo más completa de esta disciplina. El programa de esta asignatura, semejante al que contienen la mayoría de manuales de Hidrogeología, se centra en los aspectos necesarios para entender la circulación subterránea del agua. El temario se ordena en cinco bloques temáticos que tratan que el alumno adquiera tanto las nociones básicas teóricas como un buen manejo en las metodologías y herramientas prácticas que actualmente se utilizan para efectuar estudios hidrogeológicos

General Competences (CG)

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Acquire the fundamentals of geological terminology, nomenclature, agreements, scales and units.
  • CE13 : Understand, identify and represent tectonic structures and the processes that generate them.
  • CE24 : Know how to apply the basic principles of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics to understanding the Earth and geological processes.
  • CE25 : Gather, represent and analyse data using appropriate, field, laboratory and office techniques.
  • CE26 : Integrate field and laboratory data with theory, following a sequence of observation, synthesis and modelling.
  • CE28 : Know how to interpret and prepare geological maps of different kinds (geological, geomorphological, geoenvironmental, geotechnical, metallogenetic, hydrogeological, etc.), and other methods of representation (stratigraphic columns, geological cross-sections, etc.).
  • CE3 : Identify and characterise the properties of different terrestrial materials using geological methods and their corresponding instrumental techniques.
  • CE36 : Prepare reports and studies dealing with the exploration, research, production, transformation and control of geological and hydrogeological resources.

 

Generic UA Competences

  • CGUA1 : Acquire the computer knowledge needed for storing, analysing, synthesising and modelling the data required for the degree course.
  • CGUA2 : Understand sources of information for Geology and know how to manage them.
