Course context for academic year 2017-18

Cristalografía es una asignatura del primer cuatrimestre del segundo curso del grado de Geología y está enmarcada en el Módulo Fundamental.
Se trata de una asignatura en la que el alumno adquiera el conocimiento de las bases conceptuales y principios básicos de la cristalografía geométrica, el cálculo cristalográfico, simetría cristalina y la difracción de rayos X, así como sus relaciones con otras disciplinas. En concreto en esta asignatura se estudiará la organización interna de la materia ordenada y los principios y técnicas para su descripción y estudio, así como la forma en que determina las propiedades de los minerales que constituyentes de las rocas.
Los contenidos desarrollados en la asignatura Cristalografía, junto a los contenidos de la asignatura Mineralogía (cuarto semestre en el Grado en Geología), proporcionarán a los alumnos la formación básica necesaria para afrontar las materias tipo Materia y Procesos geológicos.

  • CE25 : Gather, represent and analyse data using appropriate, field, laboratory and office techniques.
  • CE3 : Identify and characterise the properties of different terrestrial materials using geological methods and their corresponding instrumental techniques.
  • CE4 : Identify minerals and rocks, as well as the processes that generate them.
  • CE5 : Relate the different structures of mineral materials with their properties and uses.
