Course context for academic year 2017-18

Inmersión teórico-práctica en el español especializado del turismo y el ocio. Análisis de los rasgos léxico-semánticos, sintácticos, discursivos y estilísticos del español del turismo y el ocio, en una amplia variedad de géneros profesionales escritos y orales.

Generic Degree Course Competences

  • CG1 : Capacity to master the key theories, perspectives and conceptualisations for building the theoretical framework of the linguistic, cultural and literary disciplines applied to the Spanish language and its literature as an expert on the subject in one's different professional profiles.
  • CG2 : Capacity to understand the role of language in the construction of human beings as active members of linguistic and cultural communities and relate it to the function of individuals in society.
  • CG3 : Be able to develop reading, analysis and synthesis techniques.

 

Generic UA Competences

  • CUA2 : Be able to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CUA3 : Be able to express oneself orally and in writing in one's discipline in one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia.

 

Specific Competences (CE):>>Conceptual

  • CC10 : Understand the pragmatic-textual and discursive characteristics of the Spanish language to be able to use, transmit and apply said knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Spanish orally and in writing.
  • CC11 : Be able to identify the variants in register, diatopic and diastratic of the Spanish language as an individual who is part of a geographically diverse linguistic community, both socially and culturally, recognising the value and richness of said variation as the heritage of all Spanish speakers.
  • CC5 : Capacity to communicate in the language of the speciality (Spanish) and in a second language in oral and written situations to enable fluid communication in the future professional and/or academic contexts the student will be involved with in the future.
  • CC7 : Understand the morphosyntactic characteristics of the Spanish language to be able to use, transmit and apply said knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Spanish orally and in writing.
  • CC8 : Understand the phonetic and phonological characteristics of the Spanish language to be able to use, transmit and apply said knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Spanish orally and in writing.
  • CC9 : Understand the lexico-semantic characteristics of the Spanish language to be able to use, transmit and apply said knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Spanish orally and in writing.

 

Specific Competences (CE):>>Procedural

  • CP18 : Be able to use the standard model of the Spanish language and the mechanisms of lexical creation and innovation as an active member of a society in permanent evolution to adapt the Spanish language to the communication needs of its speakers.
  • CP20 : Capacity to use the pertinent materials and resources: bibliographic repertories, dictionaries, works of reference, critical editions, translations and ICTs as an independent learner able to control one's own learning process and make the corresponding independent progress.
  • CP21 : Be able to explain and argue the theoretical and practical content of Spanish language and literature as one who understands and transmits this knowledge, as well as giving oral and written advice on the knowledge acquired.

 

Specific Competences (CE):>>Attitude

  • CA22 : Be able to value and take advantage of multilingualism and multiculturalism as a social agent participating in the construction of a plural and tolerant society on the basis of the multicultural configuration of the Spanish-speaking world.
  • CA23 : Be able to show a critical and self-critical attitude during the learning process.
  • CA24 : Capacity to demonstrate social commitment to the equality of men and women, the plural and diverse nature of modern society, peace and democracy.

1. Desarrollar la competencia lingüística y comunicativa en español.

2. Comprender y expresarse en español con corrección y propiedad en el ámbito disciplinar del español para fines específicos y empresariales

3. Ser capaz de negociar, exponer, informar y comercializar un producto turístico en español.

4. Ser capaz de producir y comprender la comunicación escrita efectiva en español.

5. Ser capaz de comprender y de organizar una presentación en español

6. Aprender a aprender.

7. Tomar conciencia de los contenidos que se precisan saber para desarrollar una investigación.

8. Aprender a resolver problemas y tomar decisiones.

9. Aprender a gestionar el tiempo de ejecución de un proyecto.

10. Ser capaz de vender un producto mediante técnicas de persuasión, argumentación e información.

11. Diseñar métodos de análisis adecuados para investigar problemas judiciales lingüísticos.

12. Ser capaz de llevar a cabo encuestas para la recopilación de la información.

13. Ser capaz de organizar una visita turística.

14. Ser capaz de usar recursos documentales y de aprendizaje, en especial las NTIC.

15. Saber las sutilezas idiosincrásicas y las diferencias de orden cultural y social que son imprescindibles para la comunicación interpersonal en el ámbito profesional (valores culturales, normas de cortesía, comunicación no verbal, etc.)

16. Saber las técnicas comunicativas y discursivas comunes a la mayor parte de los discursos de especialidad, que sirven para conseguir los diferentes propósitos comunicativos (técnicas de argumentación, exposición, descripción, narración, explicación, etc.)

17. Ser capaz de utilizar varios recursos para la obtención, el manejo, la interpretación, la gestión, y la transmisión de información: bases de datos, corpus escritos y orales, Internet, etc.
