General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Capacity to master the key theories, perspectives and conceptualisations for constructing the theoretical framework of linguistic and literary disciplines applied to Catalan language and literature as an expert on the subject and in different professional profiles.
  • CG2 : Capacity to understand the role of language in the construction of human beings as active members of a linguistic and cultural community and relate this to the function of individuals in society.
  • CG4 : Capacity to manage and use the resources provided by the information and communications technologies and apply those to the language and literature industries.

 

General Competences acquired at University of Alicante (CGUA)

  • CGUA2 : Ability to use basic ICT tools at user level.
  • CGUA3 : Ability to communicate effectively and have linguistic understanding of one of the two official languages of the Region of Valencia (Spanish or Catalan) in their discipline.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Capacity to communicate in the Catalan language in communicative situations (oral and written), allowing fluid communication in the professional and academic areas in which the student will be working in the future, taking into account his/her knowledge of the historical, social, cultural and artistic reality of his/her context.
  • CE10 : Capacity to use the pertinent resources and materials for self-learning (bibliographies, dictionaries, reference works, terminological works, tutorials, new technologies) and transmit the information in the Catalan language.
  • CE11 : Be able to develop reading, analysis and synthesis techniques, formulate working hypotheses, demonstrate them with arguments and reach conclusions, as well as recognise and ensure the textual coherence (structure of the text, organisation of ideas, progression of information, use of keywords), to explain and argue any subject related to Catalan language and literature, thus achieving the role of expert, transmitter and adviser regarding the knowledge acquired.
  • CE12 : Capacity to understand, value and take advantage of multilingualism with an attitude favouring the standardisation of Catalan, to participate in cultural and linguistic diversity, as well as promoting it to ensure the better social development of the language.
  • CE2 : Capacity to understand morphological, syntactic, phonetic and lexico-semantic characteristics to use, transmit and apply knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Catalan in oral and written forms.
  • CE3 : Capacity to understand the pragmatic, textual and discursive characteristics of the Catalan language to use, transmit and apply knowledge to the analysis, comprehension and production of Catalan in oral and written forms.
  • CE6 : Ability to use the standard model (and the different sub-standards) of the Catalan language, as well as understanding and knowing how to apply lexical creation and innovation mechanisms to adapt oneself to the communication needs of the modern world.

 

DEGREE IN SPANISH: LANGUAGE AND LITERATURES

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2020-21

Objectius formatius:

1.    Analitzar i contrastar llengües diferents, en el camp fonètic, morfològic, sintàctic i semàntic.
2.    Corregir els errors més freqüents que deriven de la interferència de l’estructura d’una llengua sobre l’altra.
3.    Explicar com a partir de les llengües estudiades es pot visualitzar l’ideari cultural compartit.
4.    Utilitzar adequadament les aïnes bàsiques del treball científic com ara: la bibliografia disponible, les noves tecnologies aplicades a l’anàlisi contrastiva, la síntesi de la informació teòrica, l’organització del material.
5.    Explicar el valor i l'aprofitament del plurilingüisme en la nostra societat.
 

Objectius específics aportats pel professorat:

1. Fer servir correctament i amb eficàcia comunicativa la normativa (especialment la sintaxi però també la pronúncia, l’ortografia, la lexicosemàntica i la fraseologia) que regula l’ús de la llengua en el registre formal de l’àmbit acadèmic, sobretot dels textos expositivoargumentatius (en el canal oral: exposició, debat i entrevista; en el registre escrit: informe i treball acadèmic.
2. Fer servir correctament les convencions ortotipogràfiques del registre formal escrit de l’àmbit acadèmic.

3. Identificar els errors previsibles qua apareixen quan s'aprén una L2 i que s'arrosseguen de la llengua de partida.
4. Resoldre els errors comesos amb eficàcia.

5. Identificar els elements culturals que coincideixen i que oposen els dos pobles contrastats des del punt de vista lingüístic.
6. Explicar quins són els elements lingüísticopculturals que entren en joc i cercar l'equivalent més exacte des del punt de vista de la traducció.

7. Explicar la matèria estudiada a classe segons el corrent de la lingüística que millor s’hi adirà i aplicar críticament la informació que fornirà la bibliografia i les noves tecnologies.
8. Recaptar, tractar i interpretar adequadament les dades; ateses les dades, elaborar una hipòtesi i sotmetre-la a crítica, i elaborar una conclusió.

9. Explicar el valor i els avantatges que proporciona el plurilingüisme en la nostra societat.
10. Explicar com es pot aprofitar en la nostra societat el plurilingüisme.
