Course context for academic year 2022-23

La asignatura Historia del Arte Contemporáneo, obligatoria del primer semestre de 4º curso de Grado, se inserta en el Módulo  Mundo Actual y Patrimonio, y ofrece al alumnado la posibilidad de ampliar sus conocimientos  y profundizar en la materia, proporcionándoles, además, herramientas para el ejercicio de su futuro profesional.
Dentro de la titulación esta asignatura se relaciona y complementa con las siguientes asignaturas obligatorias: Historia del Arte (1er curso); Hª del Arte Medieval y Moderno de España (3er curso) materias que, por su valor disciplinar, junto con la de Arte y Patrimonio (4º curso, optativa de 2º semestre), proporcionan al alumno una formación  fundamental en Historia del Arte y Patrimonio Artístico.

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE2 : Understand History and the major artistic and philosophical currents of Mankind, particularly the classical foundations on which European cultural reality is based, and be able to transmit them by promoting the social value of culture.
  • CE4 : Understand contemporary territorial, socioeconomic, political and cultural reality, national and international, to interpret and transmit one's view of the modern world in critical fashion particularly the process of European integration, as well as the shaping of the Spanish state and its impact on the world.
  • CE5 : Assess and interpret the cultural diversity of the Region of Valencia, contrasting the indigenous cultures of the region with other cultures with which relations and contacts are established, using the official languages as the vehicles for interaction.
  • CE6 : Understand and assess indigenous cultural and natural heritage resources to contribute towards the sensitive management of sustainable development with a critical approach.
  • CE7 : Make creative entrepreneurial use of the basic principles of the public and private organisation and management of ICTs to evaluate, create and carry out cultural dissemination projects.
  • CE8 : Acquire skills to prepare and display content related to the human and social sciences for dissemination and for educating secondary school children, using personal skills and ICT.

Objetivos específicos aportados por el profesorado:

 

1. Conocer  las manifestaciones artísticas  contemporáneas,  sus últimas tendencias y  adquirir  habilidades para analizarlas e interpretarlas. 

 

2. Recopilar información documental, bibliográfica e icónica, a través de diferentes    medios  -incluidos los recursos de las TIC- e integrarla para elaborar un discurso propio.
