Course context for academic year 2019-20
Becoming familiar with the world of Astronomy, from its primitive peoples to the present day. Getting to know its instrumental evolution, its celestial mechanics and scrutinising constellations, planets, natural and artificial satellites, stars, galaxies, etc¿ With the naked eye and with telescopes.

Objetivos:
1º Despertar, la curiosidad por el universo.
2º Reflexionar, la estrecha relación entre la persona y el universo
3º Aprender, disfrutando los conceptos básicos de astronomía.
Competencias:
- Enriquecerse culturalmente y socialmente con un vocabulario científico
astronómico a través de:
- Conocer la historia de la astronomía y sus grandes avances.
- Saber donde estamos y, por donde nos movemos.
- Comprender la mecánica celeste de lo que estamos viendo en el cielo
según la época del año.
- Conocer nuestro sistema solar y la familia que lo componen.
- Saber localizar lo que estamos viendo en el firmamento.
