Course context for academic year 2019-20

This subject is part of the Teaching Competence Certificate for Catalan, English, German and French, enabling students to get Catalan and Foreign languages Teaching Competence Certificate, which qualifies to provide teaching English and foreign languages in non-university educational levels.

This subject is taught in three languages (Catalan and English), in groups and with different teachers. This configuration groups involved slight variations in terms of organisation of content; that is why, students should consult the course description for each specific group:

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2019-20

  1. To use and apply Information and Communication Technologies in the learning process and in students’ collaborative tasks in order to foster multilingualism.
  2. To learn tools and resources for ICT learning, teaching, and communication.
  3. To learn how to collaborate with other teachers and colleagues in a real context through ICT.
  4. To be aware of the students’ learning process, especially their linguistic acquisition and its relationship with content learning.
  5. To learn how to implement ICT-supported learning environments.
