Course context for academic year 2017-18

 

1. CONTEXTUALIZACIÓN/PRESENTACIÓN
Asignatura dedicada a familiarizar al alumno con los aspectos teóricos y prácticos de la práctica arqueológica, antes, durante y después de la intervención sobre el terreno. Se pretende que adquiera una formación básica en los conceptos, métodos y estrategias de la actuación arqueológica, sobre todo en lo referente al conocimiento y utilización de nuevas tecnologías.

BLOQUE TEMÁTICO 1: PLANIFICACIÓN DE LA INTERVENCIÓN ARQUEOLÓGICA
Tema 1: Área de actuación, planificación del trabajo, reconocimiento y muestreo
• Estrategias y protocolos de intervención
• Documentación previa
BLOQUE TEMÁTICO 2: TÉCNICAS ARQUEOLÓGICAS DE CAMPO
Tema 2: Levantamientos planimétricos y digitalización
• Fichas de estructuras arquitectónicas, trazado de secciones y alzado.
• Dibujo de estructuras arquitectónicas en el campo
Tema 3: Dibujo y manejo de la planimetría
• Digitalización de dibujos de estructuras arquitectónicas
• Dibujo de estructuras arquitectónicas por ordenador
Tema 4: Levantamientos topográficos y digitalización
• Topografía arqueológica: nivel, teodolito, estación total
• Toma de datos en el campo y gestión de la información

  • CG2 : Capacity to analyse and synthesise archaeological information.
  • CG6 : Adapt to new situations involving the diversity of heritage.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE2 : Capacity to work professionally in archaeology, historical research, historical and archaeological management of cultural resources in modern society, in accordance with the deontological principles and codes of the profession.
  • CE4 : Know how to apply the methods, techniques and instruments used in the sciences related to the Historical and Archaeological Heritage.
  • CE5 : Acquire the ability to use material sources for the study of History in a critical manner, as well as the instruments for gathering and processing information (catalogues, inventories, electronic databases, etc.).
  • CE6 : Capacity to handle resources, computer and Internet techniques regarding architecture and heritage, in order to update one's knowledge of the new tools for the diffusion of information.
