Course context for academic year 2021-22

El curso está enfocado a la comprensión del fenómeno del viaje en la sociedad islámica clásica.

Desde la Edad Media hasta la actualidad, el viaje es el hecho religioso más importante de una vida. Hablamos del hayy, pronunciado "hach", el viaje de peregrinación a La Meca, uno de los cinco preceptos del islam para todo musulmán, también hoy en día.

Pero este viaje a La Meca, obligatorio para todo musulmán varón adulto al menos una vez en al vida, también es sinónimo de comercio, formación e intercambio de saberes de ciencias de la religión, derecho literrarios, etc.

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Acquire the methodology and resources needed for literary research.
  • CG2 : Acquire specific advanced knowledge (regarding those acquired in the degree course) of the subjects studied.
  • CG3 : Acquire specific knowledge of the subjects studied for its professional application in the field of teaching.

 

Specific Competences:>>Conceptual knowledge / theoretical frameworks

  • CE1 : Approach the study of literature using new methodological approaches that are different to those acquired in the degree course.
  • CE3 : Understand the methodological procedures used to analyse literary texts.
  • CE5 : Relate different literary traditions through links between aesthetic and ideological currents, authors, themes, works and periods.
  • CE6 : Acquire the philological resources needed to carry out literary research work (critical editing, bibliographic searches, databases, quotation systems, etc.).

 

Specific Competences:>>Procedural capabilities, skills and abilities

  • CE11 : Explore and develop new lines of contact between cultural traditions, works, authors, periods, themes and literary motifs.
