Course context for academic year 2020-21

La asignatura ‘La cuentística árabe y su relación con otras literaturas’ forma parte del módulo de optatividad del Master de Estudios Literarios y se engloba en el bloque de Literatura árabe-islámica (18 créditos), que pretende que el alumnado pueda componer un itinerario de formación específico orientado a profundizar en materias literarias correspondientes a los diferentes ámbitos culturales y lingüísticos que integran el Máster. La asignatura, que pretende contribuir a la ampliación de los conocimientos adquiridos en el Grado correspondiente y proponer temas y metodologías orientados a encauzar la trayectoria investigadora del alumnado, se complementa con otras de temática cercana, entre ellas ‘Mitos y arquetipos persas en la literatura’, ‘Literaturas del Magreb: de la época colonial al postcolonialismo’ o ‘La novela griega y su pervivencia’.

  • CG1 : Acquire the methodology and resources needed for literary research.
  • CG2 : Acquire specific advanced knowledge (regarding those acquired in the degree course) of the subjects studied.
  • CG3 : Acquire specific knowledge of the subjects studied for its professional application in the field of teaching.

 

Specific Competences:>>Conceptual knowledge / theoretical frameworks

  • CE1 : Approach the study of literature using new methodological approaches that are different to those acquired in the degree course.
  • CE3 : Understand the methodological procedures used to analyse literary texts.
  • CE5 : Relate different literary traditions through links between aesthetic and ideological currents, authors, themes, works and periods.
  • CE6 : Acquire the philological resources needed to carry out literary research work (critical editing, bibliographic searches, databases, quotation systems, etc.).

 

Specific Competences:>>Procedural capabilities, skills and abilities

  • CE11 : Explore and develop new lines of contact between cultural traditions, works, authors, periods, themes and literary motifs.
