Course context for academic year 2014-15

Esta asignatura estudia los fundamentos y la evolución histórica de la literatura escrita por las mujeres en España e Hispanoamérica, así como sus orientaciones actuales a la luz de la crítica feminista contemporánea. Del mismo modo, plantea la revisión del canon literario y el necesario reposicionamiento en él de la historia de la literatura escrita por las mujeres.

General Competences (CG)

  • CG1 : Acquire the methodology and resources needed for literary research.
  • CG2 : Acquire specific advanced knowledge (regarding those acquired in the degree course) of the subjects studied.
  • CG3 : Acquire specific knowledge of the subjects studied for its professional application in the field of teaching.

  • CE1 : Approach the study of literature using new methodological approaches that are different to those acquired in the degree course.
  • CE2 : Understand the new content proposed for literature courses.
  • CE3 : Understand the methodological procedures used to analyse literary texts.
  • CE4 : Reflect on recurring themes and motifs in literature.
  • CE5 : Relate different literary traditions through links between aesthetic and ideological currents, authors, themes, works and periods.

  • CE10 : Organise, structure and present research work into literature following the methodology learnt.
  • CE11 : Explore and develop new lines of contact between cultural traditions, works, authors, periods, themes and literary motifs.
  • CE9 : Apply the knowledge acquired to carrying out self-guided research work into literature.

  • Conocimiento de los principales rasgos de la literatura española e hispanoamericana.
  • Conocimiento de los géneros literarios y sus particularidades en su expresión literaria en español.
  • Conocimiento de las últimas aportaciones de la literatura hispanoamericana.

 

 

Specific objectives stated by the academic staff for academic year 2014-15

- Leer e interpretar  textos literarios escritos por mujeres desde una perspectiva de género.

- Reflexionar acerca de los cánones historiográficos y de la posición de la literatura escrita por mujeres en los mismos.

- Problematizar la existencia de una “escritura femenina” frente a una “escritura de las mujeres” a través de textos de autoría femenina producidos en el ámbito contemporáneo de la literatura en español.

- Aplicar lecturas teóricas interdisciplinares a textos literarios escritos por mujeres.

- Conocer a las autoras y los textos más relevantes escritos por mujeres en la literatura española e hispanoamericana del siglo XX.

- Distinguir  los principios teóricos básicos para interpretar textos escritos por mujeres.

Identificar los rasgos propios de la literatura escrita por las mujeres.

- Explicar las estrategias de las escritoras para posicionarse ante el canon.
