Course context for academic year 2018-19

Esta asignatura se inserta en el módulo III (Análisis de Riesgos Naturales) cuya finalidad es que los alumnos/as tengan: conocimientos básicos sobre la generación de los terremotos y las características del Riesgo Sísmico,y que les sirva como soporte para mitigar y gestionar adecuadamente los efectos causados por este fenómeno natural.

  • CG1 : Analyse, interpret and assess the results obtained in a critical fashion.
  • CG6 : Apply one's knowledge of risk management to spatial planning.
  • CG7 : Awareness of topics related to sustainable spatial development and the prevention of natural risks.
  • CG8 : Master communication techniques clearly and in a manner appropriate to the social context of territories at risk.

 

Specific Competences (CE)

  • CE1 : Understand and know how to use territorial, economic, legal, statistical, sociological and historical concepts in risk analysis.
  • CE4 : Master geographical information technologies applied to the planning and management of natural risks.
  • CE5 : Use Geographical Information Systems and prepare maps of natural risks.
  • CE6 : Master and apply fieldwork techniques to analysing and diagnosing areas of risk.
  • CE8 : Design and manage projects for analysing and proposing risk reduction and emergency management.

- Definir las características físicas del fenómeno sísmico y volcánico.

- Plantear la distribución espacial de los terremotos y deducir interpretaciones tectónicas.

- Clasificar y desarrollar los diferentes efectos de las sacudidas sísmicas.

- Analizar experiencias de evaluaciones de la peligrosidad sísmica.

- Caracterizar la influencia sobre el riesgo sísmico de los efectos locales del suelo.

- Explicar las diferentes normas sismorresistentes.
